»The Deal«
Woman
I hadn't got one
I was 18 already
and my classmates had their
girlfriends
ex-girlfriends
one-night-stands.
I thought I'd never make it,
remain.
And then,
having moved into my very own apartment,
SHE
moved in.
Now we're in our third year,
have spent every single one of those
countless nights together.
And when
I walk the streets of this town,
after those bottles of beer,
I wish I was back without that deal
when I see THEM:
they are beautiful,
immaculate,
and shy.
I hadn't got one
I was 18 already
and my classmates had their
girlfriends
ex-girlfriends
one-night-stands.
I thought I'd never make it,
remain.
And then,
having moved into my very own apartment,
SHE
moved in.
Now we're in our third year,
have spent every single one of those
countless nights together.
And when
I walk the streets of this town,
after those bottles of beer,
I wish I was back without that deal
when I see THEM:
they are beautiful,
immaculate,
and shy.
