»Questions Un-Answered«

by Walter Mbiji

What if life is the direct opposite of what we think it is?
What if existance is the dream that depends on ones interpretation?
What if humans are not what they think they are?
What if life is just a fairy-tale?

We ask ourselves questions that we never seek answers for.
Where we Born to Die and destined to non-existence?

My Grandfather died and left behind a beautiful world
A world filled by good people who enjoyed the beauty of nature
People with morals, people with humanity
People who respected life and refered to it as a blessing
People who left this world a beautiful place.

But I was born in a totally different world
Where my parents would kill, dispose of or refuse to accept me as their responsibility.
I am no longer afraid of animals that violently attack
I am only afraid of fellow humans who would kill me to get what I worked hard for
Fellow humans who kill me with drugs for their financial satisfaction
Who brings many clever ideas on how to pollute the earth but fail to come up with one on how to clean it up
Humans who look at me with disgust and call me names because I look different.

I feel sad when thinking about the next generation
What life will they live?
Questions Un-Answered.
