»Silence«

by Zandile Mboneni-Chansa

The deafening silence belowed my name, calling me to it's dark pitless belly.
Tormenting my head with endless questions, whose answers my mind has yet to fantom.
Madness crept silently as I tried making sense of all these thoughts rummaging through my mind.
Oh Silence just let go, peace I know will not come, sleep seems like a far away fairy tale.
Silence! Let go, Let go, Let go.
