»Your Beauty«

by John Paragreen

Your beauty cannot be adequetly depicted
By any sentence or phrase
Nor painted by the gifted poet
From his vast pallet of clourful cliches,
Succulent rhymes
Bathed in romantic lines
Can only sketch the faintest outline
Your beauty resides on a plateau
Far above the realms of sublime.

Your beauty can never be surpassed
By natures wonderous places
Nor bettered by the skillful surgeon
With his catalogue of beautiful faces,
Alluring queens
In films and magazines
They can only tug at your hems
Your beauty beams from a pinnicle
Far beyond the reach of any lens.

Your beauty is the fine tuned engine
Powering my motivation
Giving me strength and courage
Confidence and inspiration,
Thoughts repeat
My life is complete
And I have no cause to argue
Your beauty shines from deep within
And I will forever love you.
