»When You Were Mine«
The feeling of a little girls
hands in mine,
the light in a womans eyes
over a glass of wine,
take me back a long, long time
when you were mine.
Melodys over a jukebox in
a little Cafe;
A kiss from a beautiful woman's lips
so warm at the late of day,
could not take that feeling away
that you're still mine.
Laughter of young folks
walking hand in hand.
The dear soft sweet sound of a
woman's voice, trying to understand
Our first love between you and me
is still a precious band.
Because it is not easy to
forget you.
And not easy to regret to.
I will never forget you.
You will always be mine.
