»Our Roads«
by Ashik Rajak
I am here,
You are somewhere I don't know where,
Far away.
Don't know when we will meet again,
And will espy each other again.
My eyes can't wait to see you,
And my hands can't wait to hold you,
But what can we do?
Nothing.
I'm still living,
Not because I want to live
But, in the anticipation that,
You will come back one day.
Our roads seem to have separated us,
And have taken us both far away.
You are somewhere I don't know where,
Far away.
Don't know when we will meet again,
And will espy each other again.
My eyes can't wait to see you,
And my hands can't wait to hold you,
But what can we do?
Nothing.
I'm still living,
Not because I want to live
But, in the anticipation that,
You will come back one day.
Our roads seem to have separated us,
And have taken us both far away.
