»Eternal Love«

by Byron Coetzee

Tears they flow like rivers
to tell you how I feel
that all I have is nothing
compared to my last dream

That in my heart is passion
no other would ever know
For I was once a lover
and a dreamer for a soul

We smiled and kissed forever
and I stared into her eyes
that all she was was heaven
and she was all that made me now

For tears they flow like rivers
to tell you how I feel
that one day I will promise
to be the person fro myour dreams

For once I held you tightly
and stared into your eyes
and whispered that I loved you
as the tears rolled down your eyes

I said I love forever
and to that I hold it dear
For I am such a dreamer
And to that heaven I will go

If I die I make a promise
To love like I once did.
For love becomes a poet
and I long to feel again.
