»Uncertain Futures«
Memories flood emotions
Of times I changed my life
When the entire world was different
And I tried to save my life
In this clouded uncertain future
Where chaos rules the day
A man of words is flustered
And my questions simply rain
But I am such a dreamer
With purpose in my life
For we who walk as poets
Will find the meaning in our lives
So I bind my words in promise
To make it through this life
To find my wanting purpose
And to fulfill my promise made.
For in this uncertain future
Where questions haunt my brain
A Poet speaks of promise
That his gilded life will make.
Of times I changed my life
When the entire world was different
And I tried to save my life
In this clouded uncertain future
Where chaos rules the day
A man of words is flustered
And my questions simply rain
But I am such a dreamer
With purpose in my life
For we who walk as poets
Will find the meaning in our lives
So I bind my words in promise
To make it through this life
To find my wanting purpose
And to fulfill my promise made.
For in this uncertain future
Where questions haunt my brain
A Poet speaks of promise
That his gilded life will make.
