»On Stormy Nights...«
Wrapped up tight, erotic dreams
a soldier and his beauty queen
With skin of silk
and feather touch
She dances through his stormy love
He holds her tight
their lips embraced
in passions flare
Their bodies ached
The stares are deep
and fire born
on stormy nights
This poet longs
So as he holds her through the night
she feels his arms, protecting life
For stormy nights, and howling winds
with lightning bolts, and falling rain
Will never stop, a hero's heart
for all he is as man of words
forever sealed within a rose
and with his lips
contained a gift
The Butterfly, that longs to be kissed.
a soldier and his beauty queen
With skin of silk
and feather touch
She dances through his stormy love
He holds her tight
their lips embraced
in passions flare
Their bodies ached
The stares are deep
and fire born
on stormy nights
This poet longs
So as he holds her through the night
she feels his arms, protecting life
For stormy nights, and howling winds
with lightning bolts, and falling rain
Will never stop, a hero's heart
for all he is as man of words
forever sealed within a rose
and with his lips
contained a gift
The Butterfly, that longs to be kissed.

Berto Kamp: "Hu Byron, I enjoyed reading the poem, but there are one or two lines that trouble me. Like I do not get the meaning of why this line is in the poem This poet longs Maybe explain to me but keep on writting"
