»Perfect day«
Caught up in illusion
our moment lost in time
this beauty is a promise
I will share with you tonight
In the shadows of a river
a poet and his muse
caught in endless passion
consumed by angel song
In your beauty there is passion
that is born of heaven's tongues
entwined with me like fire
you are hotter than the sun
I long to feel your presence
I'm like a candle in the wind
for you I make this promise
That I'll always be this way
With my hands that play like a pianist
and caress your silky skin
a poet cares forever
because he wants to be her dream
So I walk under the tree tops
and miss your gentle touch
For here remains a poet
with his open beating heart.
our moment lost in time
this beauty is a promise
I will share with you tonight
In the shadows of a river
a poet and his muse
caught in endless passion
consumed by angel song
In your beauty there is passion
that is born of heaven's tongues
entwined with me like fire
you are hotter than the sun
I long to feel your presence
I'm like a candle in the wind
for you I make this promise
That I'll always be this way
With my hands that play like a pianist
and caress your silky skin
a poet cares forever
because he wants to be her dream
So I walk under the tree tops
and miss your gentle touch
For here remains a poet
with his open beating heart.
