»Dreaming of Mother«

by Shirley Joan Von Weichardt

Dearest Mother, last night I saw your face:
It was unlined, younger and full of grace.
How happy I was to see you my dear -
To hold you again ... to have you so near.
And then, to make my happiness complete,
I saw your sister sitting at your feet.
Now I know with the upmost certainty -
You're together, friends for eternity.
