»Emerald Isle«

by Shirley Joan Von Weichardt

I'll never forget the bluebells
and shamrocks of dear Killarney,
The Ring of Kerry, or the drive
to the old castle of Blarney.
All my life, my one wish and dream
was to see the Emerald Isle,
Now I know wishes do come true
- for I lived a dream for a while.
