»Relentless Burden«

by Josh Hay

I am not a burden to heavy, this is not a burden to heavy, you are the one in control, see pass the mirror, look into yourself, and see these words have not healed you now. It is you who controls, it is who you decides. This hate will not subside, this is what life tastes like. This is your world on fire. Believe in what life tastes like, you won't be alive much longer. Torn asunder by the world, and the great calamity it caused, it ceased to amaze you, as you walked down a blood torn street, filled with breaking memories, and heartless faces, torn apart by their own destruction. The damage they caused, was it worth it all? Sitting by the clock, waiting till the night comes so you can get your sleep while the world rests on your shoulders? Was this a reverie, or a burden brought on by the ones you loved? It is you who decides, look past the mirror and find, the monster lurking inside.
