»The Concept Of Lying«

by Josh Hay

Remove myself from this, and tear me away, I settled into the sky, and burned away the scars that were beneath my skin, the clouds covered my face, and I shed tears away from my past. I'm haunting by the waste of my life, the lies I have said, I won't let up, I can't let up. You know, I'm taking over, and I won't let up, i'm sorry. My heart showed I'm sorry, but my words said I'm still what I am. Just close my eyes, and let me see what I have turned my world into.
My life has become a story, written in blood and tears, people read my body as they read a book, I'm open, I'm scarred, how can a life be like this? I know I'm taking over, and I can't let up, I'm sorry. I've screwed up the program, take my hand and show me how I can fix this mess I've made. Can I fix what I have broken, or is it just a dream I can only see in my mind? My life has been a misconception.
