»He isn't You«
My phone sings a specific tune
Your name staring back at me
While I lie next to him
I stop for a moment to catch my breath
Your voice puts a smile on my face
Your eyes make me turn to jelly
Your hugs wrap me in comfort and security
Your smile, identical to mine
Yet...the man I'm kissing
The man I'm hugging
The man I'm loving, is not you...
Far away I travel to him
Laughing and giggling for just one thing
Behind the excuses, lies and disseat
My heart for him does not beat
His eyes don't twinkle quite like yours
His hugs, not as satisfying
His presence is breath taking
While yours stops my heart beat
Yet...the man I'm kissing
The man I'm hugging
The man I'm loving, is not you...
I'm stuck in a love triangle
More complicated then you know
For behind what seems to be the surface
He's the one I turn to when I'm low
When my eyes are teary and my heart sore
His arms are the ones that keep me wanting more
For you don't seem to let me through the door
When my smile is big and my heart filled with joy
His smile is the one that catches me when I fall
All because you don't seem to answer when I call
Yet...the man I'm kissing
The man I'm hugging
The man I'm loving, is not you...
He's the one who wishes I was there
He's the on who actually cares
He's the one who keeps my secrets
He's the one who truly means it
Despite this love dilemma of mine
Your still the one who makes me pine
Don't say a word
Don't let it slip
For their hearts my love triangle will rip
If they knew about you
It would make them cry
If they knew about him
I would rather die
Yet...the man I'm kissing
The man I'm hugging
The man I'm loving, is not you...
Your name staring back at me
