Outside I watch
I see the thunder,
Flash and crash,
I think of you
Of your eyes,
Sparkling and gleaming,
The joy that filled your heart
Your heart made of love,
Feeling and emotion,
You stand and smile
Smile at me with hope,
Kindness and patients,
I watch crying
Crying inside from betrayal,
Pain and anger,
I can't do anything
Everything is vanishing,
Disappearing and leaving,
My heart filled with tears
Tears caused by pain,
Hurt and sadness,
One last hug
The hug of a lifetime,
Always and forever,
You turn and walk
Leaving me alone,
Crushed and abandoned,
I watch you leave
Walk into the distance,
Treed and disappear,
I run away
Away from the truth,
Lies and honesty,
My heartbreaks
Into a million pieces it cracks,
Shatters and crumbles,
You walk away
Abandoning me unknowingly,
Ignorantly and uncaringly,
The tears I shed
I shed for you,
My angel,
My guardian,
My friend.
I see the thunder,
