»I Will Honour You«
Rob's hands covered his face as the tears leaked from his ruptured heart
Since the day of their union, They had never once been apart
She had a disease from which she could never be healed
For 6 months she carried on regardless, keeping it well concealed
Until this night when He had rushed her in, such a sorry sight
His once beautiful bride reduced to nothing, a terribly steep plight
He left the hospital, Eyes red with sorrow an emptiness in his chest
A stranger approached from the gloom, with an offer perhaps a test
The stranger introduced himself as Raphael, he was shining brightly
"I will grant you one last night with your wife, use it wisely"
Rob stopped crying and embraced the stranger, his passion re-ignited
What follows is a full account of how they spent their last night, re-united
He set the bed with red rose petals laying on silky sheets of white
He made a path of petals leading from the door to the bed
He took such care in every little detail, He even dimmed the lights
Candles surrounded the room, White, pink and a deep loving red
She was waiting for Rob in her favourite chair
Her smooth skin glowed, Oh how he loved her long flowing hair
He was drawn over to her, an absence of thought so appealing
His heartbeat increased as he found himself beside her chair kneeling
Sobbing with joy, he battled to say her name overcome with feelings
He took her hand in his, kissed it gently then held it up against his cheek
He loved everything about her, her smile, her body and her dazzling mystique
Helping her up to her feet and undressing her so carefully
She caressed his body with her fingertips so gently
He led her to the bedroom, guided by the rose petals, to the bed where he layed her down for pleasure
He had sailed the seas of bad relationships and hurt and eventually he had found this woman, his treasure
He kissed and touched her so intimately it warmed his being
Then their bodies became one, Loving was believing
They reached a climax which sent Rob into a satisfying dream
He was in a garden surrounded by Flowers and a crystal blue stream
Everything was bliss, he felt Wonderfully content
He knew he would be fine, He knew what love meant
He woke up alone but he felt stronger than the day before
He knelt down beside his bed, placed his hands together and prayed to the Lord
"Thank you for this night and every night we had together
Thank you for making her everything I had ever hoped for
Tell her I love her more than I could put into words, forever
I will hold her in my flesh for always, her love running through my veins
Until the day I join her, Walking side by side on heavens plains
Thank you you for the unconditional love you showed me, time and again
Forever Yours, Forever Mine...Amen..."
