»Sweet Bondage«
by Christopher Kudyahakudadirwe
What then is life
Without you my wife?
How do I become a being
When you so almost chose going
on such a journey all alone?
The fourth of June...(Remember!)
Stands out like a sand dune
On the Sahara of our lovescape
Suffering the drought weather
Of all trials and tribulations
That have reinforced our bondage
Through thick and thin
(As it were!)
Through you I became a father
And through me (Yes!)
You became a mother
And we became THIS family!
(For Matha after the road accident)
Without you my wife?
How do I become a being
When you so almost chose going
on such a journey all alone?
The fourth of June...(Remember!)
Stands out like a sand dune
On the Sahara of our lovescape
Suffering the drought weather
Of all trials and tribulations
That have reinforced our bondage
Through thick and thin
(As it were!)
Through you I became a father
And through me (Yes!)
You became a mother
And we became THIS family!
(For Matha after the road accident)
