»Love you regardless«
I don't need to see you every day
I don't need to hear the words 'I Love You'
I don't need to touch you in my special way
I don't need to taste your lips so gentle
I don't need to even feel your hand in mine
Because I don't need you to love me for me to love you, I must confess...
I love you regardless
Why do we love and expect to be loved in return?
Why stop loving if you give love and get spurned?
Why not just love, Who can prevent you from doing this?
Why you love need not be explained or defined?
Why we love is why we're born, an expression of the mind
I allow myself to love you, Though you may
not express love for me. These feelings are too
strong to supress because I love you regardless
Sometimes I think Im crazy to feel the way I do
Sometimes I wish I could wake up and I could turn around to you
Sometimes I would benefit greatly from the physicality of your embrace
Sometimes I wish I could be with you, So close as to share the same space
Sometimes I can almost touch you, Our imaginary intimacy so surreal
I must confess, I shall never supress
The way I love you...Regardless
I don't need to hear the words 'I Love You'
I don't need to touch you in my special way
