»Tears of Blood«
When you walked up to me
I saw an angel in you.
I looked up to you
And let the guard in me
DOWN!!
I let you in
I let you into me.
I gave it all to you
I gave you my heart, my soul and my life...
But you broke the bond in me
When you let me down.
Like a rag, you used me
And tossed me out.
I've crossed the shoreline.
I've been through the tumultuous seas
And tasted the bitterness
Coming from the crying ocean's salt.
I'm exhausted, I'm dried out.
I'm broken and I'm finished.
While you go gallivanting
In the spirit of your conquest,
The pain you planted deep down in me
Keep these tears of blood fresh.
I saw an angel in you.
I looked up to you
And let the guard in me
DOWN!!
I let you in
I let you into me.
I gave it all to you
I gave you my heart, my soul and my life...
But you broke the bond in me
When you let me down.
Like a rag, you used me
And tossed me out.
I've crossed the shoreline.
I've been through the tumultuous seas
And tasted the bitterness
Coming from the crying ocean's salt.
I'm exhausted, I'm dried out.
I'm broken and I'm finished.
While you go gallivanting
In the spirit of your conquest,
The pain you planted deep down in me
Keep these tears of blood fresh.

Brice Walters: "Some feelings are best expressed in poetry. The words so beautifully carry you into the pain he must have felt, or is feeling..."
