When in your eyes It looks
And there is no way to avoid it;
When in your nose it ricks
Sending shudders to your stomach pit;
Nor tears nor fears no longer work
To redeem you from certain fate,
For the die is cast- your wake
On this earth proceeds; for you're late.
Oh, if there's a way to reverse
And give you a chance to genuflect
To plead with our God of the Universe
Making the peace that you so had to neglect;
Then who are you to blame
When your desires you didn't tame?
And there is no way to avoid it;
When in your nose it ricks
Sending shudders to your stomach pit;
Nor tears nor fears no longer work
To redeem you from certain fate,
For the die is cast- your wake
On this earth proceeds; for you're late.
Oh, if there's a way to reverse
And give you a chance to genuflect
To plead with our God of the Universe
Making the peace that you so had to neglect;
Then who are you to blame
When your desires you didn't tame?
