»Poetry Chose Me«
Significantly, poetry chose me.
I thought to my self how could this be?
Words that blasted into my mind like Spanish words that uttered "pardon, disculpe no elentendi" I mumbled to myself: "Poetry a ngi ku understandi".
Could poetry be a biological anthropology that sucked my energy to write, and write, and write, and write, is it right to be engulfed by this addictive urge that would wake me up all night? for my next 'fix' of writing poetic sights? Hey it's my right to write. Right?
Poetry came to me like an unexpected crush that rushed through my lyrical VEIGNS which I...myself didn't think I had through these PAINS, oh my bad! Did I mention that I'm also in love with poetry? Cause she chose me, hey, who would flee from the beauty that causes jealous woman to wish that they could have had a baby that Hips 'n' Hops all day, wait! Re-play, Poetry chose me and gave birth to our beautiful HIP-HOP son, get it? Hip hop? Question is should I stop? No, cause I woke up one night and realised that my beautiful poetry chose me.
Night sweats, pillow's wet, pen and paper flat in my magic hat of words that needed to be released cause obsession was what poetry had in possession when she chose me. My first intercourse with her was my first rhyme that intertwined inside my mind, from metallic jaws to angelic paws that grabbed my hand and forced pen and paper to meet, how sweet cause poetry chose me.
All of the lyrical things I've said might've confused you, but don't let the words I've said re-arrange you, please don't let the words I've hailed fade into oblivion, but let them cause a union that will finally bring a re-union between you and your poetry, because poetry chose me cause God is the Poet and I'm his poetry so he named me his lyrical disciple. Let the poet find you cause the poet chose me to be his poetry, get it? Poetry chose me!
