»Pesticides got me petrified«

by Lebohang Ramatswi

Pesticides got me petrified.
Feelings still scrutinised.
A kiss I've longed for;
Got me yearning for more.
I felt your heart beat,
I climed and unthinkable feet,
running awya from pesticides that
clouded my lungs and left me petrified.

I love you, you love me.
so, let it be. Hold me and I'll hold you; together we'll flee!
Unthinkable forces of nature try to use pesticides to wrench and throttle our love, but being sanctified eliminates us from being petrified.
