»A Jealous Glass«

by Trisha T.

Passing along the earth
The shadows of your glass
Deceive; they seem to sparkle life.
While hiding inside
Wild vanity lurks; beheaded
Twisting tale after lie
Of demon-spawn and fairy stories
And pretty ladies who get so thin
Or men who are perfect
Only for the reasoning of jealousy.
So passing along the earth
If honey-coated clouds are your residence
Then it would be recommended
To ignore while skipping
The shadows of the glass
For they deceive-boasting your life.
