»Wishing Star«
I think I'm falling for her, said a man to a star
It had been two weeks since he wished upon it,
While lying on the bonnet of his car.
Make her kind, make her lovely,
make her only mine.
Take her heart fill it with love
and send her on a ray of sunshine
Oh heavenly being, hear my wish
and please make it come true for me.
For if it does, then I will surely know
that this love was destiny.
I once was lost, but then I found
That it was me who decided my own fortune
I once was lonely, till she came along
a graceful, precious woman
I think I'm falling for her, said a man to his best friend
I can't stop thinking about her,
I'm excited, happy but scared
What if I wake up tomorrow
and it was all just a dream.
I'm holding my breath, battling to speak
What does all this mean
...his friend speaks
Stop being an ass, fill this man's glass
with something a whole lot stronger
You see he has fallen in love and
as a result he is not lonely any longer
He took a chance, he took a step
and for him that's pretty impressive
So give him a drink, so he can prepare
to be more emotionally expressive
I think I'm falling for you, said a man to the girl of his dreams
Take my hand, here's my heart
Let me show you what love means
For I won't hold back, I will only hold you
See how perfect we are united.
If I had known it would be quite this way
I would never have decided to fight it.
For what I lack in experience dear lady
I can make up for, in love by far
For on that night, it was but the sky and me
and I made a deal with a wishing star
I think I have fallen for you...
It had been two weeks since he wished upon it,
While lying on the bonnet of his car.
Make her kind, make her lovely,
make her only mine.
Take her heart fill it with love
and send her on a ray of sunshine
Oh heavenly being, hear my wish
