»Letter to your mom... Part two«

by Happy Mhlongo

Secondly, your mom was a good person, open
So beautiful, charming voice and face
We used to chill all day at the same spot
Talking about life as friends
And playing our favorite sport.

Each time I reach the spot
We used to meet, I feel lonely again
Inch of the days I spent with you was amazing
Since then I never loved better like that
I missed our companionship my PREND

You kept me well through tough time
Nothing I blame, not you my child, not you my love
I am to be blamed, I never shown love
I was a fool to let you go
My life flashes the time I fine the little bundle-
On the floor lying naked.

I never had time to show you...
So if you got time... come back I'll show you how much
I've learnt my lesson
Oh the toddle you left has grown to ne a teenager
Last December she turned ten.

She always asks me of you.
I lied so many times
We missed you, she is empty inside
Hungry for a mom
Angry for me to let you go
We were just surfeit
