»Consider Me Alive«
by Josh Hay
Just consider me alive, I can see your perfect world, as I try to keep myself alive, I've been here before, as I dreamt of this place, in my head. In my small world, I can't let go, all this suffering, just consider me alive, And I will be there for sure, and this moment is heaven. This is the place, under the red sky, between love and hate, burning a world with roses, a simple plan turned into a massacre, a reverie born from nothing, sleepless thoughts wonder in my mind, waiting so long for whispers I won't die for anyone. Something is about to break, as I am born into a world of suffering and witnesses. In my dreams we play hide and seek, and when I wake, I play this game in my head, till you arrive, you know I try the best I can, in all my dreams I await for you, and when I wake up, your gleaming eyes are upon me. These white waves crash upon the pavement, I can't let go. I am the warmth that holds you, you will never see me falling away, as I feel this moment fading out, I grab your hand, and pull you into this perfect memory. Underneath this red sky, just paint this picture in my head, of you and I, Creating warmth between us, I know some like it cold, but the cold drifts away into a cavern, Just breathe into me, and I will tell you how no to slip, just take back what is mine, and that is you. A sign of a blue horizon is above us, as the ashes fall from the sky, and my smile penetrates the sky, and your eyes penetrate my soul, born anew how could this be? I'm no longer cold and alone, beneath this empty ground, I scream into the heavens, washing my tears away with your hands. This is the sign of the murder, fill me with love I won't be casted away, we can't be burned away, as our sins tear us apart, I will never be alone. Missing and broken, I will never be shattered, I await your whispers in the wing, this suffering will end, I await by the ocean waves, watching the water wash away the sins of the world, as the sand hits the ground, I forget the tale I once knew, and a new beginning starts with you.
