»From the land of Milk and Honey«

by Kelly Attrill

My roots run deep, rich with a mixture of cultures and life.
I am a new South African. Not new as in a new breed, In my country it is rife.
I am not confused and will not be phased at all the negativity that comes with this issue.
It is my priveledge that intend to embrace until my life is through.
I am a success, and a blessing in the creator eyes.
That's all that really matters, not the opinion of you guys!
I will live long and love with all my being, I will put trust in one man because everything is what he is seeing.
So I thank him for the colour of my skin that he gave me.
Now it is for me to be and live free.
