»Fallen too far«

by Kelly Attrill

Patience is a virtue, virtue is a grace.
I'm longing to smell the scent of your skin.
Your touch, I'm wishing to embrace.
I want no one but you and your love, but I am the one who is not wanted.
I've waited long enough for you,
I need that virtue from above.
My life feels hollow, grey & empty
without you beside me
I can't do plenty.
I have not figured out why this distance has grown.
It's hurting me terribly inside
On my facial expressions it is shown.
So find your way back to me and shower me with your affection.
By me pillar of strength & support
before I go deeper into a depression.
