»Insomnia of Society«

by Kelly Attrill

A concrete jungle filled with society & its tricks
The underhand activities standing in shadows gaurding their rights with sticks.

Where the wrong if justified, and the right is forgotten
where the smiles are rife but the hearts are rotten.

Like snakes they linger awaiting their prey,
The outcome, a gory senseless display.

The rich stay rich, the poor lose out.
Using prayer to fill their stomachs, like lost souls they roam about.

No fairness in this equation,
yet it's proven to be a fact that money makes the world go round and it's up to you to make an impact.
