»Our Golden Girl«

by Christopher Kudyahakudadirwe

Cast not in bronze;
Cast not in silver;
But in gold from Egoli-
the very African womb!
That's our Caster, the golden girl.
Went to Europe with a big ego
to bring back the gold
Oh, our Caster so bold!
So fearless as to strike fear
In their chicken hearts, hear!
Beaten at it they weave tales
So tall they fail to see
Who you are golden girl.
Remember, sister of ours
Silence is a fotress and
your win surreal to THEM.
