»No future«

by Happy Mhlongo

The loneliness gets worse but the time goes.
When thought its gonna be alright,
the clock just stop moving and the Mountain block my way.
And when I see the future, the clouds blinds my ears and eyes.
Then the corner of darkeness slowly came to me and wash my powers away.

The clock moved an hour later,
and the darkeness moves faster than before.
Mom whispered: "Son, there is your tomorrow, your future, dreams and hopes.
wake up and catch it,
it's your last chance to fetch it."
Slowly I opened my eyes but see only darkness with white clouds.

and timely I see a white rose coming close to me,
I moved forward but still can't reach the mountain.
Like my shoulders are tied somewhere and blind.

Firmly I stood up and saw the clouds.
It was just a dream.
But yet I woke up today, still no dream, future and hopes.
