»Who says mottos are always true?«

by Kelly Attrill

"When times are tough, then friends are few"
Yet when things are rough one always turns to their crew...

It is that feeling of hope they give you when you need to talk,
Or that much needed destresser
That long, funfilled walk.

Along the beach, together you stroll...
laughing & joking I slowly climb out my hole.

The one I dug, when I was down & out,
wishing to be alone not out & about!

No company, no work, no love & no tea.
No parent, no granny, no boyfriend
"Just let me be!"

Now that I am over my uncalled for sadness...
my friend did help me get over this madness.

The situation now looks senseless and small.
I laugh at it quietly, thinking what was all this for?
