»Reflections And Reality«

by Josh Hay

Take cover, run and save yourself. Don't worry, your going under. Lie to my face, trust in me. I'd rather die than see you get away. Shut down my system, the best part is over. Oh, burn this world down. Your cards won't save you this time. Your grim smile, has gotten you too far. Let me burn into the clouds. Fall to your knees. Lies out of your mouth. Nothing ordinary about that. You won't remember my sins, my dear, run for your life. You can't fool me with your impressions. Don't cry you'll be going under. Save yourself, I wouldn't quit on you. Get away from me. Triumph is your latest fashion. Oh, fall to your knees. I still feel you around me. Comatose won't save me now. Secrets revealed, how can you do this? Vision and reality are mixed. We will sleep when we are dead. Cry to my face, my dear, your tears won't save your soul. Let this be the last time you lie. Dance with yourself one last time look in the mirror. My reflection will burn into you forver. Let my light shine in. Tear my away, you won't it back alive. I've taken aim, I don't care to miss. Your all around me. Hide yourself I can still see your smile in my eyes. Remember this day, penance will not absolve you. I am the one who has taken aim. I won't be leaving. We will tear away this awful feeling. I will stop the bleeding. Lies and misery pour out of your glass. Burn and remember my only sacrifice. Don't drown this city in misery. Only you can save your existence. Can you burn my world down? Picture yourself in my shoes. The city is unrepentant, run and take cover. Woe is this city. It's all numb to me. This has gone to far, your secrets will only tear yourself apart. The best part is over. Sailing in the dark isn't fun. Where are all the lights when desparity becomes all you have?
