»You left«

(by Shawn Coll)

That fateful day you died
The whole family sat down and cried
It happened out of nowhere
For you I did care

Very fast death did take you away
Instead of giving us just one more day
A curtain of sadness fell over my eyes
Like rain clouds fill the skies

I did not know what to think
My whole world began to sink
To the ground my heart sank
Like a weight in a water tank

But with death comes joy
When a child gets a new toy
With God you will rise
In a magnificent place above the sky
