»Lady Love«
I just close my eyes and then you are there
Your lovely smile shining upon me
Visual promises of keeping me safe and sane
Loving havens you are offering me
Freedom from what is bothering me
Come with me, your lips whisper, come with me
In my arms you will be, in my arms I will treasure
Reaching out to you, you are here
Sinking away I am, you holding me
Into seas of calm and peace
Forgetting about all that is around me
Surrounded by you, not even here
Opening my eyes, worrying if you are really here
Too scared to feel destitute once more
With small eyes I start to stare
Here by my, you still are, lady love!
Your lovely smile shining upon me
Visual promises of keeping me safe and sane
Loving havens you are offering me
Freedom from what is bothering me
Come with me, your lips whisper, come with me
In my arms you will be, in my arms I will treasure
Reaching out to you, you are here
Sinking away I am, you holding me
Into seas of calm and peace
Forgetting about all that is around me
Surrounded by you, not even here
Opening my eyes, worrying if you are really here
Too scared to feel destitute once more
With small eyes I start to stare
Here by my, you still are, lady love!
