»A Different Light«

by Mary Kettle

The sun is shining bright today
it hits the branches in many angles many ways
I love life when it is seen in this light
no more darkness or pain in sight

Only the warmth of the sun shines through
These are the days that are too few
I will enjoy this gift given to me
As in a different light

I can see
Kindness and compassion in amongst the leaves.
