»The Journey of Life«
by Tiema Muindi
I made mistakes
In the journey of my life
Some decisions I made
Believing I was right
Some were wrong
And left me wonder why
That I couldn't see them
Even when I saw others cry
In the journey of my life.
I have gathered wounds
That can not heal
And the scars too
That cannot be forgotten
Emotional tears
That do not dry up
With drought of happiness
That had no end
Tunnel of problems
With no light
In the journey of my life.
The weakness of man
Is not to have made no mistake
The strength of man
Is not to hold back tears
Neither gold nor silver
Maketh man great
The lessons I have learnt
In the journey of my life
In the journey of my life
Some decisions I made
Believing I was right
Some were wrong
And left me wonder why
That I couldn't see them
Even when I saw others cry
In the journey of my life.
I have gathered wounds
That can not heal
And the scars too
That cannot be forgotten
Emotional tears
That do not dry up
With drought of happiness
That had no end
Tunnel of problems
With no light
In the journey of my life.
The weakness of man
Is not to have made no mistake
The strength of man
Is not to hold back tears
Neither gold nor silver
Maketh man great
The lessons I have learnt
In the journey of my life

Hettie Van Zyl: "Ilike the way you compare the words and together to make the reader see what you meen like drought of happiness and the tunnel of
problems Great peace of art."
