»Identity Crisis«
What really defines personality?
Is a name, character, and credentials,
Or there could be more to it?
Do I posses the qualities
To be or not to be?
Is fate attached to a name?
Could who they say I am be true?
Who am I?
Did I choose life my well?
Are my prospects the right ones?
What is my favorite color?
Are choices all that matters?
What about those with no choices?
It seems everyone wants everything
What do I want?
A good destiny is important
Endurance keeps one going
Destiny I now know
Endurance drives, so I am told
But which is the right direction?
I'm in a fast directionless vehicle
And may crash into a brick wall of misery
Where am I going?
Neither what lies ahead of us
Nor what we have left behind
Is greater than what is within us
Our priorities and disposition
Determine our judgments and character
We are what we think we are.
Is a name, character, and credentials,
Or there could be more to it?
Do I posses the qualities
To be or not to be?
Is fate attached to a name?
Could who they say I am be true?
Who am I?
Did I choose life my well?
Are my prospects the right ones?
What is my favorite color?
Are choices all that matters?
What about those with no choices?
It seems everyone wants everything
What do I want?
A good destiny is important
Endurance keeps one going
Destiny I now know
Endurance drives, so I am told
But which is the right direction?
I'm in a fast directionless vehicle
And may crash into a brick wall of misery
Where am I going?
Neither what lies ahead of us
Nor what we have left behind
Is greater than what is within us
Our priorities and disposition
Determine our judgments and character
We are what we think we are.
