»A Woman of Strength«
A woman of strength & courage is she who sits here.
Displaying traits, that of a queen.
Nobility & stature oozes from her aura
Yet a hard life is where she has been.
The strides of her walk are as smooth as a summer breeze
Passing through one's hair
The feeling of refreshment
This excitement is too much to bear.
With eager I await her presence.
In my chambers I sit with ease.
She enters with such humbleness,
My grandmother – is she.
I go back centuries when I look in her eyes.
And see all the face lines around them.
A journey, a tale with passion & truth,
The intrigue and knowledge behind her.
She opens a world of vision and fear for people who believe her story.
A world with love, honesty and trust.
How wonderful it must've been.
To wonder around in drapery, naive to life's tribulations.
To sit by the riverside & get lost in your own dreams
Where everything is colourful & always as it seems.
Displaying traits, that of a queen.
Nobility & stature oozes from her aura
Yet a hard life is where she has been.
The strides of her walk are as smooth as a summer breeze
Passing through one's hair
The feeling of refreshment
This excitement is too much to bear.
