»Blackmail«

by Berto Kamp

Do not touch me
Leave me alone
I am on my journey that no one knows
Your sweaty hands that when they touch feel like a burning bush
Or a wire brush
Scrapping the skin from my body
Just to satisfy your lust
As you peel away my emotions with this game I thought was trust
You did not care what you did to me
As long as I was the victim and you did succeed
Why did I return time over again?
Surely I could have escaped this blistering pain
Yes there is only one word to describe this game
Blackmail
Emotional blackmail was your bait
You lured me to the disastrous place
Luckily now I can see
Your sickness that became part of me
Forgive I can
Yes you left this land
No longer can you hurt or cause pain
Only those memories will remain
