»Soul Buddy«

by Michael S. Hofer

When you're stuck in your life
and you don't know where to go
A loop of all those small things
that you already know

When your past's so far away
and your future's out of reach
You miss the thrills and feels
you need a helping hand

Take care and watch closely then
for that little tiny hint
that sign from up above
that shows you more than love

The sun comes out and the winter's gone
Is that the reason why I sing a song?
And we all gonna start again

Let them talk
You won't listen anymore
You can't hear them
You don't feel it no more

Your mind is someplace else
and your body's left here alone
The way you feel tonight
is the way you sing along

The sun comes out and the winter's gone
Is that the reason why I sing a song?
And we all gonna start again
