»See you in the sun...«

by Juliet Paulse

Here comes the rain
Falling down again
There used to be sun around these parts
But every time I feel it
I hear the thunder start

I have known days like these
There will be more I guess
'Cause it's not the first time
That I'm outside looking in
Hoping to get in, at the next stop
The doors are far to quick
And I am always late

I missed it again
I guess I'll wait my turn
Hey wait for me...
Hey... hey...
There it goes again.

Left outside and soaking wet
Got this love spilt all over me
I'm stained again
It's getting harder to wash it up and out
'Cause every time that I bleed
It takes parts of me away

I'm waiting out in the sun
Got my best dress on
Ready to walk around the park
To drink in the delight
And there you are
You're about to say hello

I didn't miss it
';Cause I never got on that bus
I was on the wrong street
And now I am here
And I am ready to give

You should know
That you're the only one
Who has ever seen my colours
I saved it all for you
And I know with you
I'll beam even brighter than I've dreamed
See you in the sun my love
I'm ready
I'm ready
I'm ready
To shine with you
