»Dual Complexities«

(by Mihlali Mlonyeni)

You were nice when I met you,
He was nicer after I betrayed you.

You took your time, whilst his penis was already mine.

You said, "I love you" once.
He made me cum twice.

You took me to meet your parents,
While I ran my online errands, and as karma stroked my hair in Oelde
You drove miles and miles away to Munster.

You huffed and puffed and cursed your mother
And he sat on the edge of my bed wanting another.

You disappeared every morning at three
He bade me farewell to go back to thee.

You woke me in the morning,
As he stood outside my door calling.

The both of you in grief,
Coming to me for relief.

Should you not find me?
I'll be walking on the sand,
Hand in hand,
With another lad.
