Coal Shed
The coal shed is where I went to when I did want to bleed
It happened again and you did succeed
You took advantage of me
A school girl was I
You my step father
You made me cry
Over and over it happened again
When they came to visit me at our house
I would stand with the door slightly ajar, not wide
Would not let anyone in
Knowing it would happen over and over again
Now I sit and look at the coal
Black, dirty my story one day would be told
I feel just like that dirty coal
The way you touched me, it turned me cold
Dirty here I sit
Feeling like that piece of coal
You left your dirt on me
One day the truth will be told
O yes you will see
The coal shed is where I went to when I did want to bleed
It happened again and you did succeed
You took advantage of me
A school girl was I
You my step father
You made me cry
Over and over it happened again
When they came to visit me at our house
I would stand with the door slightly ajar, not wide
Would not let anyone in
Knowing it would happen over and over again
Now I sit and look at the coal
Black, dirty my story one day would be told
I feel just like that dirty coal
The way you touched me, it turned me cold
Dirty here I sit
Feeling like that piece of coal
You left your dirt on me
One day the truth will be told
O yes you will see
