Smash the mirror
break it and leave it lying on the floor broken and dead
smash it until you are sure you have killed the face that resides in there
the face that taunts you "you will never be beautiful no matter how hard you try" it says trying to hurt you in a mocking tone of voice, well I guess I showed you because who's beautiful now my friend as you lie ugly and fractured on the floor
I stamp on you just to make sure you are gone but soon I will feel guilty and try and pick up the pieces but cut my palms on the shards
It's beyond repair but at least I have shut it up
I don't hate myself or the person I am, I just hate the glassy imitation of me
I bet it doesn't know my name or favourite song and if the mirror is so truthful tell me why as soon as your not there it becomes someone else? It's because the mirror lies I say smash the thing and forget it was ever there
learn to live with the person you are because it's the person inside that is beautiful
the exterior?
just a dust cover to protect the good bits...
