Other poems by Andreas Buchholz:
»You Won't Hear Me Cry«
My tears start to rise,
they're filling my eyes.
You won't hear me cry,
not even a sigh.
I don't need your love,
no hand from above.
I don't want no one,
no ray of the sun.
My heart's all alone,
a king on his throne.
Blue sky's gettin' dark,
my soul's with the stars.
This dream's by your side,
oh beautiful bride.
But if you were here,
I would not be near.
I wake up at dawn,
my dream has long gone.
I stay on my own,
just like an old stone.
I don't have no tears,
so open your ears:
You won't hear me cry.
You won't see me die.
they're filling my eyes.
You won't hear me cry,
not even a sigh.
I don't need your love,
no hand from above.
I don't want no one,
no ray of the sun.
My heart's all alone,
a king on his throne.
Blue sky's gettin' dark,
my soul's with the stars.
This dream's by your side,
oh beautiful bride.
But if you were here,
I would not be near.
I wake up at dawn,
my dream has long gone.
I stay on my own,
just like an old stone.
I don't have no tears,
so open your ears:
You won't hear me cry.
You won't see me die.
