I want to write you a letter
And tell you how much I miss you
I want to write you a letter
And let my feelings come into view
I want to write you a letter
And ask you if you're okay
I want to write you a letter
And say sorry for turning you away
But I will never write
You will never have a clue
About how much you are missed
And how much I still love you
I refuse to cause you pain
And to be a problem in your life
I will never hurt you again
I'll cause you no more strife
I know you will be angry
This will be hard to understand
But know that by not writing
I'm being your friend
And tell you how much I miss you
I want to write you a letter
