»The Cottage«

by Andrew Eaton

Home away froma household
Escape to, is leaving everything behind
Weekends offer serenity from it all
Freshness prevails over surroundings polluted
An urgency replaced with calm
Dullness fills a world of chaos
Minimal upkeep gives reason to visit
Rustic preferred than perfection
A place of peace
Trees are more vivid to the eye
Flowers display scents ignored
Sky's flutter with different hues of color
Cold in appearance is far from
A fire will warm the inside of all
Sharing with another ormany
The Cottage welcomes all into its warmth
