»A Graceful Promise, A Tragic Lie (The End Of Me)«
(by Josh Hay)
I have met the line, where truth and lies start to fade. My whole life, I have hidden the darkness inside me. What happens when this phase ends, and my wings unfold? I have mixed truth and deception, where is my place to hide in all this madness? When does my heart start to beat again? I am afraid of myself, I am afraid of what fate has bestowed upon me. I have crosseed the line, this fight is my own. They said a storm was coming, I didn't think it would be the end of me. My life was born from a graceful promise, but ended in a tragic lie. They said I would be washed away, all I wanted was to be made clean again. Seperate me from dreams and reality. Fortune never favored me. Give me some sense of direction, and let me get this off my chest. They say, the best things come to those who wait, I have waited, why is heaven so silent? The sky burns red, when my last drop of blood hits the ground. They said a storm was coming, I didn't make it out alive. I will ascend from the bottom, to be born again.
